Matthew Kastel is a veteran of both minor league and Major League Baseball. A list of the teams and ballparks he has worked at include: Auburn Astros, Maine Guides, Williamsport Bills, Vermont Mariners, Houston Astros, Citizen’s Bank Park (home of the Philadelphia Phillies). Matt currently is the Manager of Stadium Operations for the Maryland Stadium Authority (Camden Yards, home of the Baltimore Orioles).
Matthew’s publishing credits include articles in magazines and college textbooks ranging on anything from ethics, the business of professional sports and event management. The Manager’s Daughter is Kastel’s second foray into fiction, as he had a novel published in 2012 by Aberdeen Bay Publishing entitled Nine Inning Murder.
